New West Los Angeles rapper Maniac Blac, releases the long-awaited Reset Button EP with features from J Ride, Dj Krucial of Shadyville Djs, and Vic Smitty. The entire project was produced by award winning multi-platinum producer Harold “Scrap” Fretty who’s better known for his song on the 2 Pac - All Eyes On Me album with his single “Only God Can Judge Me”. The Reset Button EP is the first release on new Compton based independent record label Zemawr, which is a joint venture with Who Digital Media. The entire project consist’s of raw hip hop/rap from Los Angeles during a time saturated by trap and mumble rap in the urban music industry.
“The reason I named my project Reset Button was to play my part in bringing back good, quality music, and to bring back the essence of hip hop… I feel like everyone right now is all copying each other and not making a lane for themselves, so I decided to lead by example, but still give everybody a piece of me, while still keeping it real and to encourage others to simply be themselves” - says Maniac Blac
Along with the EP announcement, today marks the 4th week of the EP’s single release Luv Is A Feeling from Maniac Blac; which currently is clocking in over 130,000 streams on Spotify alone, since dropping on August 31st, 2018.
